September 2025

The Frozen Ridge biome is live! This month we focused on environmental storytelling: windswept peaks, hidden caves, and tougher survival mechanics. The huskies now recognize trails, which makes exploration more immersive. Beta feedback has been invaluable — thank you, testers!


July 2025

Our inventory system is now functional. Food and lantern oil management add real tension to nighttime exploration. We also improved husky AI — companions now fetch objects and respond to whistles. Demo testers reported crashes on older GPUs, so optimization has been a major task.


May 2025

The first public demo of Husky Island is out! Early players explored the forest and lake regions with their husky companion. This was a big milestone for us — seeing screenshots from the community has been motivating.


March 2025

Internal testing of core mechanics began. We refined husky movement, added sprinting, and started experimenting with weather effects. Snowstorms now roll in across the island, making campfires more important.


January 2025

Development officially began! We prototyped the husky companion system, navigation, and a basic campfire save mechanic. The team is excited to bring this world to life.
